Remaining Focused (for me)

It's hard to spend a whole summer doing the same things almost every day. Things get repetitive and it's easy to lose motivation. The thing is that finding a set of productive habits and repeating them every day is the quickest way to progress in whatever you choose to do. That's why I try to be intentional about where I place my attention. My attention is the greatest currency that I possess, even greater than money itself. What you pay your attention to, is exactly going to become the outcome of your reality. For example, if you give your attention to negative thoughts, emotions, and things like fear, then you will live a life full of these things. And if you keep your attention on positive things, then it's vice versa.

For me, keeping my goals in mind and taking time to think about them every single day helps to spark the motivation I need in order to do the boring things. I try to keep my attention on how good achieving my vision will feel, and all of a sudden things that were starting to get old become a little bit more manageable. Sometimes you just need a little kick to get you over the edge in order to get things done.
